Zara

When I lived in Spain my junior year of college there was a Zara around the corner from me. I used to LOVE shopping there - and now that they are in the states it's just a tease as we do not have one in Chicago. I'm heading to New York in two weeks so hopefully I'll be able to find a good chunk of time to spend there. And money.

more Paul Smith

How cute is this dress? Easy. Breezy. Also available at Paul Smith

Paul Smith

Oh Paul Smith, I think I like you. You're preppy and quirky and retro and nerdy and cool and colorful and bold and a little bit shy. I especially like these multi-colored Summer sandals. These sort of remind me of those vases folks are making now with rolled up newspapers.  Buy here.

Organic

The clothing line called Organic was one of the first clothing companies to use organic dyes and fabrics. I'm not one for the ridiculous over saturation of "green" products (I saw a "green Bible" yesterday at the book store), but New York based designer John Patrick has really done a nice job. This outfit is TOTALLY up my ally. Available at Tula Boutique in Chicago.

British Vogue May 2009

Well, my first piece of International press finally hit newsstands here in the States last week. British Vogue published a stunning series of Mario Testino photos, featuring the gorgeous Russian model, Natalia Vodianova. I was thrilled beyond belief to see the Winifred Grace earrings on page 127.  This one will be going in a frame! To buy these earrings please visit my website here!

Model as Muse

There is a fabulous new exhibit going on at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute from May 6 – August 9, 2009. The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion is the name of the game, and photos I have seen look spectacular. Is it me or does this photo from the exhibit bare a resemblance to the Lutz & Patmos homepage image? Great minds think alike.
