Tao Kurihara

White on white. Ruffles upon ruffles. Color on color. These outfits are definitely fantastical and not something everyday, BUT I can't help but fantasize about the event to which I could wear one of these stunning creations. Tao Kurihara's got unbridled, over-the-top talent.

Barbara Munsel

Barbara Munsel is a young, talented designer from The Netherlands. She makes fabric, clothing and jewelry. It's almost as if a five year old with mad technical skills was unleashed in a design studio -- and I mean that in the BEST way. I really love the uninhibited creativity and whimsy!

TOOL BAG!

Sounds like a grade school insult, doesn't it? Check out these awesome canvas work bags from Home Depot. The best part is the prices won't make you feel, well . . . like a tool. www.homedepot.com

James Merrell Photography

Ok. Clearly I do not have anything going on tonight. That being said, there is no shortage of amazing finds on the world wide web. I LOVE the graphic nature of British photographer James Merrell.

Angelica Houston

Angelica Houston is beautiful now, but I never realized how stunning she was in her younger years. Can someone please tell me how I can get MY arms to look like that?

I'm also considering this one from West Elm.

Target

Considering tight budgets, Target has really jumped to the rescue. I haven't seen this stuff in person, but I'm seriously considering one of these headboards. target.com

More 1st Dibs Yumminess

I've been looking for a nice settee to put off the kitchen, in front of the bookcase that separates Benjamin's office from the rest of the apartment. Swoon swoon. Drool drool. From 1stdibs.com

Lucrecia Troncoso

Born in Argentina, and now residing in Los Angeles, artist Lucrecia Troncoso continues to experiment with unconventional materials like hair, orange peel, and soap to create pieces that spring from the materials and from observations of daily-life. Those shoes are made from orange peels and that cascading floral loveliness is made from cellulose sponges! Very inspiring and unique work from Julie Baker Fine Art.
