Blue and White

Picked up the recent issue of Elle Decor UK and was inspired by their feature on blue and white. The Sanna Annukka blue and white tray for Marimekko (twentytwentyone.com), The Great Wave print by Katsushika Hokusai (vandaprints.com), and the blue and white bone inlaid side table (grahamandgreen.co.uk)are fabulous examples of non traditional blue & white combinations.

Will someone please buy me these most perfect Old Gringo cowboy boots from The Perfect Pair? Last week I was in Nashville doing a trunk show at the store (thanks to everyone who came out and bought jewels!) and tried these on the day they came in. Look closely at the electric blue stitching which stole my heart.

Lisa Perry designs a line of women's clothing under the same name and while I am not a huge fan of the designs for myself, I do think her home in the Hamptons in pretty rad. Although, really? People live and sleep here? Doesn't look like it to me. Images from 1stdibs.

Hip Hugger

I'm normally not one to get jazzed about swim suit season. Hips and buttocks which have been hiding safely inside jeans and tights shudder at the thought. This Orla Kiely suit could have me (and them) singing another tune.
