Winifred Grace / Autumn 2008
My Nanna Manning (pictured above carving figurines out of soap, of all things) has long been the inspiration for many things in my life. Most recently is the new Autumn/Holiday 2008 collection for Winifred Grace. I wish Nanny were around today, as I think she would have loved these 1920s inspired pieces. Created by hand, each piece is made by manipulating oxidized rhinestone chain in to girly, curly, fringe. Definitely a vintage feel with a modern edge.
